De-Corrupting Medicine: Laws to Enact, Repeal, and Rewrite
Reform was supposed to be impossible. One idea born from this work is already a draft bill, with a sponsor, in Michigan.
You have watched medicine drift from healing toward capture for decades. You have seen how the game is rigged and you know exactly where the levers are. That knowledge is now among the most valuable assets in the country, and it is being called into service once more.
De-Corrupting Medicine is a living, working course, an IPAK-EDU Advanced Certificate laboratory where activists, clinicians, attorneys, scientists, and citizens design the actual laws to enact, repeal, and rewrite to pull corruption out of medicine at the root. Your ideas will not sit in a notebook. The strongest of them will be platformed, drafted, and carried toward legislators, the way one already has been. Together we engineer a miracle legislative session.
Live with Dr. James Lyons-Weiler, twice each week, at times chosen to work for the cohort. It is up to us. Take your seat in the room where the reform gets written.
De-Corrupting Medicine is an IPAK-EDU Advanced Certificate course built on a disciplined premise: no institution deserves immunity from measurement, and no allegation deserves immunity from proof. It is a legislative design laboratory, not a lecture series. You move from diagnosis to reconstruction — auditing the laws that govern money, evidence, regulatory authority, institutional power, and patient rights, then converting documented failures into enforceable legislative language.
Across 22 units you will learn to classify conduct precisely across criminal corruption, civil fraud, unmanaged conflict, scientific distortion, retaliation, and protected disagreement; trace money, data, and power through the clinical encounter; detect outcome switching, selective reporting, and buried conflicts in the evidence record; and audit licensing, peer review, and the machinery of professional discipline. Every one-hour session follows the same cycle — map the authority, audit the record, trace the mechanism, design and test the remedy — using the IPAK Medical Integrity Law Matrix.
The material spans claims integrity and federal fraud law; PBMs, rebates, and clinical compensation; trial registration, full data access, and correction due process; FDA independence, surrogate endpoints, and postmarket accountability; iatrogenic harm and treatment-cascade responsibility; patient data and automated-denial rights; hospitals, medical boards, antitrust, and whistleblower protection. It ends in a legislative drafting laboratory and an adversarial hearing, where your proposed law faces constitutional, fiscal, scientific, and operational challenge.
The capstone is a complete model act with section-by-section analysis, a constitutional and administrative-law memorandum, a fiscal and implementation note, a loophole analysis, and a revision record. No law degree is required — you need only be able to read primary legal and scientific sources and tell evidence from allegation. Designed for legislators, attorneys, clinicians, scientists, compliance officers, patient advocates, journalists, and advanced students.
Taught live as a cohort by Dr. James Lyons-Weiler, Tuesdays at 1 PM Eastern, beginning September 8, 2026.
